The all-new electric ID.2all has received its first official look from the Volkswagen brand. The Volkswagen Group's long-awaited MEB Entry platform will serve as the foundation for the new ID.2all vehicle. One of the 10 new electric cars that VW will introduce by 2026 is the production version of the ID.2all. In its lineup of EVs, the ID.2 will be placed underneath the Volkswagen ID3. Moreover, Volkswagen said it was "as roomy as a Golf and as affordable as a Polo."

The electric vehicle (EV) in the concept can reach 100 km/h in less than seven seconds thanks to its 222 horsepower electric motor. With a range of up to 450 kilometres, it has a top speed of 160 kph. The ID. 2all has a 4050 mm shorter length than the existing Polo, but a 2,600 mm longer wheelbase, providing much more inside room. It has a 490-liter trunk that can be expanded to 1,330 litres when the back seats are folded down.

Importantly, EVs manufactured on the current MEB platform offer rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive powertrains, while the MEB Entry platform only supports front-wheel drive. VW notes that the 12.9-inch infotainment display gives a "self-explanatory infotainment system with classic volume control," describing the inside of the car as having a "clear design" and having a "clear design". The ID.2all will be available with a number of cutting-edge assistance features, including Travel Assist and Park Assist, LED matrix headlights, massaging electric seats, and a panoramic sunroof, according to VW.
