The Maruti Suzuki Jimny will soon be on display in all of India's Nexa showrooms. The Jimny has been showing up at small dealerships in India in advance of its introduction, which is in a few weeks. Since its debut at Auto expo 2023, the eagerly anticipated 5-door Jimny has drawn 18,000 reservations. The lifestyle off-roader is anticipated to be on sale soon, with deliveries beginning in May 2023.

The Jimny's 1.5-liter K15B petrol engine from Maruti Suzuki has a maximum torque of 134 Nm and 105 horsepower. Both a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque-converter automatic transmission are available as options. With a manual transfer case, a low-range gearbox, and 2WD-high, 4WD-high, and 4WD-low modes, it has Suzuki's All-Grip Pro 4WD technology. A ladder-frame chassis also serves as the foundation for the Jimny. The Alpha and Zeta are most likely the two trim options for the Jimny.
