Maxxis Tyres To Expand Its Pan India Network By 5% In FY 2021-22

Maxxis India appointed over 800 dealers amid the Covid- 19 pandemic, totalling the tally to 3000 dealers Pan India

Maxxis India, plans to expand its dealer network to 5-7% by end of this fiscal. The company added over 800 dealerships during the pandemic in FY 2020-2021 primarily to enhance customer accessibility and Maxxis footprint in rural India. 

The total tally of Maxxis dealerships in India has reached the 3000 mark. A significant number of dealers added are from Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Haryana. 

Commenting on the business plan, Mr. Chu Tsang Chih (Kurachi), Director, Maxxis India, said, “With our vision to achieve 15% of India’s two-wheeler tyre market by 2023, the expansion of dealerships is a significant step in this direction. As we move closer to achieve our target, we would like to enhance Maxxis Tyres pan India footprint by consolidating our current channel partners and adding more dealers in our portfolio. Our aim is to enhance Maxxis network to 5% by end of this fiscal, this will give us a filip in reaching out to our stakeholders across every noon and corner of the country. With current 3000 dealers, we aim to amplify our customer outreach and expect to maintain this momentum in future as well”.    

The company is trying to set up at least one dealership for the population of more than 30,000 in a village which will establish trust and generate business growth. Maxxis currently serves as an OEM tyre supplier to Honda two-wheelers, Hero Moto Corp, Yamaha and Suzuki (Two-wheelers), Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Tata and Jeep in India.
