Jeep India has announced that production for the locally-assembled 2021 Jeep Wrangler has commenced in its Ranjangaon joint venture manufacturing facility.

Jeep Wrangler is built on its legendary history with the combination of off-road capability, authentic Jeep design, open-air freedom, advanced fuel-efficient powertrains, superior on- and off-road dynamics, and a host of innovative safety and advanced technology features.

“Jeep has always represented the ultimate in capability and open-air freedom, and we are incredibly proud that our Made-in-India Wrangler protects that important legacy in the market,” said Partha Datta, Managing Director – Jeep India.

“The Jeep Wrangler is the second out of the four localised products we committed to launch in India. We wanted to make the world’s most recognised SUV even more accessible to our Indian customers and we are pleased to be able to meet their aspirations.”

The 2021 Jeep Wrangler is now available for pre-booking before going on sale exclusively in India on 15 March, in 26 dealerships across the country. Pricing and specifications for the 2021 Made-in-India Jeep Wrangler will be announced at market launch.
